Asha Motwani anchors USIBC India dialogue in California

The U.S.-India Business Council is organizing a private dinner to discuss India’s role in the current geopolitical scenario on May 5 in California.
The event, titled “U.S.-India Executive Salon Dinner,” will be held at II Cielo in Beverly Hills, CA.
For the dinner, USIBC will partner with the Motwani Jadeja Foundation, a Palo Alto-based nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by Asha Jadeja.
Jadeja is a venture capitalist, philanthropist and entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley, California. She is also a founding stakeholder in Google alongside her late husband Rajeev Motwani, in whose memory the foundation was started.

Talking about the dinner, she noted on X, “Delighted to be hosting a key meeting/dinner at the Milken Institute conference in Los Angeles.”
Described as an “off-the-record dinner,” it would feature debate and discussion about the role of India in today’s shifting global order, and how business leaders can help shape the trajectory of India’s rise and sustain growth across the greater Indo-Pacific.
The organizers also spotlighted the significance of the event at a time when “geopolitical turbulence and market complexity grips the global economy.”
The event will be held on the sidelines of the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles.
Jadeja has been invited to speak at the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026. She will be part of the panel “Global Investors’ View: India” at the Milken Institute’s annual meeting, scheduled for May 4 in Los Angeles.
