8 Indian-origin students named finalists in 3M young scientist challenge

3M and Discovery Education today announced the 2025 3M Young Scientist Challenge top 10 finalists. / 3M
Eight Indian-origin students have been selected as national finalists for the 2025 3M Young Scientist Challenge, a middle school STEM competition jointly announced by 3M and Discovery Education.
The 10 finalists, all between the ages of 11 and 14, were chosen for their video proposals offering scientific solutions to everyday problems. They include Shrey Arora from Collierville, Tennessee; Divyam Desai from Frisco, Texas; Isha Marla from Portland, Oregon; Reanna Patel from Princeton, New Jersey; Sheyna Patel from Longwood, Florida; Anirudh Rao from Lone Tree, Colorado; Aniket Sarkar from Sarasota, Florida; and Amaira Srivastava from Gilbert, Arizona.
