San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office reportedly arrested eight individuals on multiple felony charges, including gang-related kidnapping and torture.
The Office's AGNET unit on July 11 along with Stockton Police Department SWAT Team, Manteca Police Department SWAT Team, Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team, and the FBI SWAT Team executed five coordinated search warrants across San Joaquin County.
They ended up arresting eight individuals, including Pavittar Singh, Dilpreet Singh, Arshpreet Singh, Amritpal Singh, Vishal, Gurtaj Singh, Manpreet Randhawa and Sarabjit Singh. All the eight men are currently booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

The charges leveled against them include, kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit a crime, preventing/dissuading a witness, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, threats to terrorize, felony gang enhancement and numerous other weapons possession related charges.
The police claim to have seized five handguns (including a fully-automatic Glock), one assault rifle, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, high-capacity magazines and over $15,000 in cash.
In a social media post, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said, "This takedown was part of the FBI’s Summer Heat initiative, a nationwide effort targeting violent offenders and gang members who terrorize our communities."

It added, "Summer Heat reflects Director Patel’s commitment to the American people to crush crime and restore safety in neighborhoods across the country.
