As Navratri 2025 draws near, playlists everywhere are getting a festive upgrade. From timeless Bollywood hits to fresh Gujarati tracks, Garba music has evolved into a vibrant mix of tradition and trend. Whether you’re spinning dandiya sticks or twirling to folk beats, the right song can set the mood for nine nights of nonstop celebration. Here are some of the latest and most popular Garba songs that are bound to dominate the dance floor this season.
1. Rangaara by Aditya Gadhvi and Falguni Pathak: This is the collaboration we’ve been waiting for since Aditya Gadhvi dropped his famous ‘Khalasi’ with Achint Thakkar in 2024. This time joining hands with the Navratri Queen Falguni Pathak, Gadhvi’s ‘Rangaara’ celebrates Gujarati culture. Pathak’s solo in this song is especially iconic; this one is fresh and likely to be popular.
2. Pari Hoon Main: The iconic Suneeta Rao song was re-released in 2023 in the Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Thank You for Coming’. Ever since, this track, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Sushant Divgikar is stuck! Nostalgic, with retro elements (because of the original song), but with modern production (groovy beats, club/dance friendly). This should be your go-to Garba song this festive season.
3. Dholida: From Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), this track is a high-energy Garba number that blends traditional Gujarati folk rhythms with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s signature grand orchestration. Sung by Janhvi Shrimankar and Shail Hada, the track builds with powerful percussion, claps, and a fast tempo that perfectly matches the circular movements of Garba.
4. Shubharambh: Another comeback song this season is this 2013 track from Kai Po Che. Sung by Shruti Pathak and Divya Kumar, the song is composed by Amit Trivedi with lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. The song (title meaning “auspicious beginning”) mixes joyful Gujarati/ Hindi lyrics with folk-flavored instrumentation — shehnai, dhol, rhythmic percussion — giving it a celebratory feel.
