The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has launched its first-ever nationwide stem cell donor campaign to expand the pool of potential matches for Indian American patients battling blood cancers.
“Stem cell transplants are a vital treatment for blood cancers such as leukaemia and lymphoma,” AAPI president Dr. Amit Chakrabarty said. “I’m thankful to our chapter leaders, members, and volunteers across the nation who are spearheading this effort.”
