The LA Knight Riders defeated the Texas Super Kings by six wickets on July 3 at the Knight Riders Cricket Field, with eight balls to spare.
Chasing 174, LA Knight Riders reached 175/4 in 18.4 overs. Rovman Powell scored 73 off 27 balls, including six fours and six sixes, while Colin Munro remained unbeaten on 55 off 42 deliveries. Jason Holder finished unbeaten on 8.

LA lost Andre Fletcher for 6 in the second over and Unmukt Chand for 18 before Matthew Tromp added 11. Powell and Munro then added the bulk of the runs to put the hosts in control. Powell was dismissed by Amshi de Silva with nine runs still required, after which Munro and Holder completed the chase without further loss.
Earlier, Texas Super Kings scored 173/5 after being asked to bat first. Saiteja Mukkamalla top-scored with 80 off 55 balls and shared a 66-run partnership with Shubham Ranjane, who made 28.
Texas lost Faf du Plessis for 14 and Rilee Rossouw for 2 inside the first five overs. Donovan Ferreira was dismissed for 2 before Mukkamalla fell in the 19th over. Wiaan Mulder remained unbeaten on 29, while Dian Forrester added quick runs at the end to take the total to 173/5.
Sunil Narine returned figures of 2/22 in four overs for LA Knight Riders. Jason Holder claimed 2/48, while Andre Russell took one wicket.
The victory ended the LA Knight Riders' three-match losing streak and secured their third win of the season, propelling them from the bottom of the table into the top four, with the Texas Super Kings ranking 5th.
