Meta’s Arun Srinivas appointed to USISPF’s India executive leadership board

Srinivas, who has led Meta’s India operations since June 2025, said the appointment comes at an important moment in the U.S.–India relationship.

The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) appointed Arun Srinivas, managing director and country head of Meta India, to its India executive leadership board. 

The forum announced the appointment in a statement welcoming Srinivas to the panel that brings together senior industry leaders shaping bilateral economic engagement.

Srinivas, who has led Meta’s India operations since June 2025, said the appointment comes at an important moment in the U.S.–India relationship. 
 



“I am truly honored to join the USISPF board at such a pivotal time for the U.S.-India partnership,” he said. 

He noted that Meta’s mission “to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together aligns deeply with USISPF’s focus on fostering economic and commercial ties between our two nations.”

He added that as India grows as a global economic powerhouse, Meta aims to strengthen digital transformation across sectors, “empowering businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, and enabling millions to participate in the digital economy.”

Highlighting the role of technology in shaping India’s growth, Srinivas said, “We believe that AI & technology can unlock new opportunities, drive innovation, and accelerate India’s economic growth and aspirations.” 

He said he looks forward to deeper collaboration with USISPF members to “build stronger public-private partnerships that benefit both countries and their people.”

Srinivas brings nearly three decades of leadership experience across consumer goods, technology, advertising, and private equity. Before taking charge as Meta India’s country head, he led the company’s Ads Business and Global Business Group. 

His earlier roles include serving as COO and Global CMO at Ola Mobility, operating advisor at WestBridge Capital, and several senior leadership positions over 15 years at Unilever across foods, beverages, skin care, makeup, modern trade and customer marketing.

He has previously managed large P&Ls, overseen brand portfolios such as Knorr, Kissan, Fair & Lovely, Lakme, Red Label and Bru, and led international business launches such as Ola’s entry into London.

Srinivas holds a post-graduate diploma in management in marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, an executive education certification from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a bachelor of science in Physics from the University of Madras.
