"We will have a deal with India," says Trump
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also confirmed talks were moving in the right direction on a trade deal with India.

President Donald Trump said on April 29 that the United States will soon have a trade deal with India.
“India’s coming along great. I think we’ll have a deal with India,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on his way to Michigan, where he was travelling to deliver a public address on the occasion of 100 days of his administration.
