United Gujarati Convention set for May in Orlando
The four-day convention over Memorial Day weekend will bring together over 100 Gujarati associations from across the United States.

The Federation of Gujarati Associations of USA (FOGA-USA) will host the United Gujarati Convention 2026 from May 22 to May 25 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Florida.
The four-day convention, scheduled over the Memorial Day weekend, marks the second edition of the United Gujarati Convention and is expected to bring together more than 100 Gujarati associations representing over 1.8 million community members across the United States.

The convention is structured as a multi-sector gathering with programming focused on business networking, trade exhibitions, youth and leadership forums, and community engagement.
A business summit titled “Gujju Capital Tank” will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to present ideas to industry experts, alongside vendor showcases designed to facilitate commercial networking through booth-based participation.
Community-focused segments will include a matrimonial networking meet, youth competitions such as chess tournaments, and career-oriented sessions. A dedicated children’s segment will feature creative showcases and a robotics-focused initiative aimed at promoting STEM learning.
Cultural programming will include Garba and Raas nights, Gujarati folk performances, and stage presentations highlighting music, dance, and storytelling traditions.
Additional segments will include spiritual sessions with prayers and cultural observances, with prominent spiritual leaders expected to attend.. A designated “Food and Fun Zone” will offer Gujarati cuisine and family-oriented activities.
The 2026 edition builds on the inaugural convention held in Dallas in 2024 and follows outreach initiatives involving Gujarati organizations across the country, including pre-event engagements in New Jersey.
FOGA-USA, established in 2021, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and serves as an umbrella body representing Gujarati associations nationwide.
Its objectives include promoting cultural preservation, community engagement, and collaboration across sectors while strengthening ties between the United States and India.
The Gujarati community in the United States, shaped by migration since the mid-20th century, has established a strong presence across sectors including healthcare, engineering, information technology, hospitality, and business.
