One of the major highlights of the celebrations was the Srinivasa Kalyanam, the celestial wedding ceremony of Lord Srinivasa and Goddess Padmavathi, held June 15. Thousands of devotees attended the event, which was followed by a traditional laddu auction.
The festivities also included daily cultural dance performances and a special Nadaswaram concert, showcasing India’s rich artistic and devotional heritage. Temple priests conducted the ceremonies throughout the festival, performing sacred rituals and services central to the observance.
Temple chairman B. Ramalingam and Temple president Kedar Badisetty thanked devotees, volunteers, sponsors and community members for their support in making the event a success.
The temple also announced preparations for the opening of its Srinivasa Kalyana Mandapam, a new wedding and cultural hall designed to host religious, cultural and community events. Temple leaders said the facility reflects the organization’s commitment to serving the growing Hindu community in North Carolina.
