Jersey City Mayor James Solomon and City Council At-Large member Mamta Singh, along with Councilman Tom Zuppa, joined hundreds of volunteers to prepare meals for thousands of people in need during a community event organized by “Let’s Share a Meal” on April 18.

The large-scale meal preparation effort brought together local officials and residents in Jersey City to address food insecurity. Volunteers worked in coordinated teams to cook, package and distribute meals within a limited timeframe, aiming to reach vulnerable individuals and families across the city.

Solomon participated directly in the effort, working alongside volunteers during the preparation process. Singh contributed to organizing activities and engaging participants, while Zuppa joined the effort on-site, supporting the initiative.
