The statue, depicting Bachchan in his trademark 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' pose, was crafted in Rajasthan, India, and later shipped to the U.S. as a fan tribute. It has since evolved into a local cultural landmark, drawing visitors daily from around the world.
The Seth family, who commissioned and installed the statue in front of their home, opened their property to fans for the celebration. Members of the 'BigB Fan Club' and 'BigB Efamily' traveled from several states to attend, underscoring Bachchan’s lasting appeal across generations.
“The enthusiasm of fans continues to grow,” said one attendee. “We never imagined it would become this popular. People visit every day to celebrate Amitji’s legacy and take pictures with the statue.”
Now in his eighth decade, Bachchan remains one of India’s most recognizable film personalities, with a career spanning more than five decades across cinema, television, and philanthropy. The Edison statue has become a focal point for admirers who continue to celebrate his influence on global Indian culture.
