Jayapal: Most Americans would fail naturalization test

The congresswoman spoke about her 17-year path to citizenship while criticizing President Donald Trump for targeting lawful immigrants and making the path to citizenship more difficult.

Indian American congresswoman Pramila Jayapal said most Americans would fail the U.S. naturalization test, arguing that lawful immigrants are being unfairly targeted despite meeting stringent requirements to become citizens.

“I had gone through tests that most Americans would fail,” said Jayapal, a naturalized U.S. citizen and the ranking member of the House Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement Subcommittee.

CRAZY JAYPAL hates Modi and India too.

She fails to understand that citizenship is a privilege and not a RIGHT. The right is only for those born in the USA. Somewhere in between, immigrants got to carried away with EQUALITY.

If Jaypal breaks the law, she too can be handcuffed, chained and sent back to India. She is no exception. That is the law the CONGRESS LADY forgets. Laws that she is responsible for to revise or bring new ones.

Just narebazzi gets you to be a Congress woman. But law still applies to her too.

I agree Trump is going extreme. But lets not forget what Democrats did to Trump with all the drummed up charges and 100 million dollar judgement to a woman who claimed to be raped and the jury declaring she was not. But then lunatic judges gave her $100M for he claim that she felt humiliated because Trump said "He did not molest her" while she still make money selling a book saying: HEY LOOK I GOT RAPED and I am making money, you too can make money.

Sam Patel , did you even read what you have written? You are a probably Modi worshipper. BTW whether you are naturalized citizen or natural born citizen, your have equal rights unless you lied to get the citizenship. Even Trump married to TWO women who naturalized citizens. Democrats did not drum up charges. It is the jury awarded her. He was also a convicted felon - 34 times over. Trump lost the election 2020 fair and square. He could not accept it.
