Israel has seized control of the strategic timing in its confrontation with Iran, shifting from reactive responses to preemptive operations, according to retired Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Colonel and Middle East expert Miri Eisin.

Speaking on The Nationalist View podcast with journalist Arun Anand, Eisin said the shift means Tehran no longer dictates the terms of engagement in the conflict.

Eisin said Israel’s broader objective includes ensuring the Islamic regime in Iran cannot control the course of events. “I hope it brings regime change. But for the moment, what I want is for us to be defining the rules and not the Islamic regime of Iran,” she said, adding that proactive operations launched on Feb. 28 had already achieved that shift.
