Indian Motorcycle on Aug. 25 launched the 2025 edition of its Scout range in India, introducing eight new models with prices starting from ₹12.99 lakh ($14,800) ex-showroom.

The company, owned by US-based Polaris Inc, said the new line-up combines heritage-inspired design with updated engines, rider-focused technology and a wider set of customization options.

The Scout family will be available in three trim levels – Standard, Limited and Limited +Tech – with features ranging from ABS and LED lighting to traction control, ride modes, cruise control and a 101 mm touchscreen display with GPS navigation in the top-end variants.

“With the new Scout range starting from ₹12.99 lakh, we are confident that more Indian riders than ever before will be able to experience the legacy of the Scout,” said Lalit Sharma, Managing Director, Polaris India.

Engines and performance

The line-up is powered by two engines. The newly introduced 1250cc liquid-cooled V-Twin SpeedPlus engine produces 105 HP and 109 Nm of torque, while entry-level models get a reintroduced 999cc SpeedPlus engine producing 85 HP and 87 Nm of torque.

All models come with a six-speed (1250cc) or five-speed (999cc) transmission. The low 680 mm seat height and new steel tube frame aim to improve handling and customization options.
