ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੀਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿੱਝਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਦੂਸ਼ਣਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿੱਟਾਮੁਖੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਪਨਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਦੂਰੀਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ਾਸਕਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਗੜਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਪੈਣਾ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੀਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿੱਝਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਦੂਸ਼ਣਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿੱਟਾਮੁਖੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਪਨਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮਸਲੇ ’ਤੇ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ’ਤੇ ਬਣਦੀ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
