16 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ, ਥਾਮਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਊਥ ਐਮਰਸਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ 'ਤੇ, ਬੰਦੂਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਦੋ ਡਰਾਈਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹਿਸ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਝਗੜਾ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
