મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલે નર્મદા નદી ઉપર આકાર પામી રહેલી ભાડભૂત બેરેજ યોજનાની પ્રગતિની જાત માહિતી મેળવવા પ્રોજેક્ટ સાઈટનું નિરીક્ષણ કર્યું હતું અને કામગીરીની સમીક્ષા હાથ ધરી હતી. આ ભાડભૂત બેરેજ યોજના ભરૂચ પાસે બિન ઉપયોગી રીતે દરિયામાં વહી જતા લોકમાતા નર્મદાના મીઠા પાણીનો સંગ્રહ કરીને મીઠા પાણીનું સરોવર બનાવી ભરૂચ-અંકલેશ્વર વિસ્તારની ખારી થતી જતી જમીનને બચાવવા માટે હાથ ધરાઈ રહી છે.
