Friends of Nepal hosts prayer meet for protest victims

Organized by Friends of Nepal, the prayer service at Princeton’s Buddhist Vihara drew around 50 community members, who circled the Stupa of Enlightenment in remembrance of the 72 lives lost. The protests erupted after the government banned 26 social media platforms, quickly escalating into a nationwide uprising against corruption that toppled the regime.
