Trump links autism to Tylenol and vaccines, claims not backed by science

September 2025 83 views 1min 37sec

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday there was a link between the use of Tylenol and the development of autism during pregnancy - a claim which many doctors dispute. He did not present evidence for the claim. "First, effective immediately, the FDA will be notifying physicians at the use of... well, let's see how we say that, acetaminophen, is that OK? Which is basically, commonly known as Tylenol, during pregnancy can be associated with a very increased risk of autism."
