He also supported many major Mandirs and organizations, including Hari Om Mandir, Lemont Hindu Temple, and Shree Bala Ji Mandir in Aurora.
His family’s grain holding facilities and Hatti/Chakki for processed products in Barnala were donated to Seva Bharti Punjab. He contributed annually to Chinmaya Mission and gifted more than 100 copies of Weaver’s Wisdom and other books to Bal Vihar Chinmaya graduation classes.
He shared close friendships with Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, and Narendra Modi, with whom he regularly spoke during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat. He was a major supporter of VHPA events in 1984, 1993, and 2018, and worked tirelessly for the growth of Bharat over 54 years in the United States. He fully financed his elder brother Kewal Krishan Mittal’s global Dharma Prasar Yatra with B.K. Modi.
