While the slangs with younger generations are always changing, throughout 2025, there is one phrase or two numbers that have rocked the blockbuster chart. “SIX-SEVEN” takes the internet by storm in memes, videos and conversations with people of all diversities and ages specially of Gen Z.
The term “six-seven” also spoken out as “67” or “6-7” has been the highlight among many kids and teenagers. The origin of the phrase that went viral on Tik-Tok and other social medias goes back to a song called “Doot doot” by Philadelphia rapper Skrilla, where “6-7” is a recurring lyric. It’s also sometimes associated with NBA player LaMelo Ball who is 6’7”.
