The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) launched a digital humanities project aimed at revisiting how Sikhism and Punjabi culture are studied in contemporary academia.
Titled ‘Sikhs in the 21st Century: Remembering the Past, Engaging the Future’, the project is led by Nirvikar Singh, professor of economics at UCSC, and is housed at the university’s Humanities Institute.
