The 2025 AHAA & Sikh Summit, hosted by United Sikhs, will take place virtually from July 19 to 24, the organization announced on X this week.

The annual gathering brings together participants from Sikh and allied communities for a week-long program focused on leadership, learning, and advocacy. The 2025 edition will be held online, allowing wider participation from across regions.

According to the organization’s announcement on X, the summit is open to “aspiring advocates, policy enthusiasts, legal minds, and anyone eager to make a global impact.” The focus areas this year include civil and human rights, legal justice and reform, governance and public policy, and global humanitarian outreach.

In a post, United Sikhs wrote that the summit “unites changemakers from Sikh and allied communities for a powerful week of learning, leadership, and advocacy.”

On its website, the organization described the event as its “flagship summit,” encouraging early registration.

Attendees will receive training and insights on a range of issues, including immigrant rights, disability rights, women’s and men’s rights, and Sikh rights. The website notes that participants will “gain in-depth insights into critical advocacy campaigns and learn directly from leaders in human services, research foundations, and global Sikh rights organizations.”

The group is positioning the summit as a space to “connect, learn, advocate, lead,” and emphasized building knowledge and skills for real-world advocacy.
