United Sikhs, an International non-profit organization based in New York, recently recognized Narpinder Mann for her outstanding service, leadership, and dedication to advancing human rights and empowering marginalised communities.
Mann is the director of United Sikhs and a key external stakeholder for the UK Government.
Mann started working with United Sikhs in the early 2000s as a part of the United Sikhs-International's helpdesk at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall, Park Avenue to provide guidance on complex legal, immigration, and welfare issues.

In 2015, Mann was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) as part of the Queen’s Honours for her outstanding charitable work benefiting both local and national communities.

The recognition by United Sikhs comes in view of her notable community-oriented efforts, including, playing a pivotal role in a highly sensitive case involving the repatriation of the body of an Indian student murdered in the UK. Mann coordinated efforts between UK and Indian government bodies, NGOs, and law enforcement agencies.
Since 2019, she has assisted in the repatriation of over 30 deceased individuals to India, bringing comfort and closure to grieving families.
Bhai Sahib Gajinder Singh and the Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan also honoured her commitment to justice and community service in July 2025. She also received a Certificate of Honorary Membership from the Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan.
