Tie50 winners pitch for Meet the Drapers showcase
Among 50 companies, Plethy, based in San Jose, and Nosh, founded by a team of Indian entrepreneurs, drew attention with impactful pitches.

Two Indian-founded startups—Plethy and Nosh were among the standout presenters at TiEcon 2025 during the “Meet the Drapers” and TiE50 Awards segment, held at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The event, organized by TiE Silicon Valley, showcased high-impact startups and offered them a rare opportunity to pitch before global investors and the team behind the popular venture funding show Meet the Drapers.
Now in its 17th year, the TiE50 Awards recognize the top 50 early-to-mid-stage technology startups from around the world. This year, about 12 of those winners were invited to pitch directly to the Draper team for a shot at appearing on Season 8 of Meet the Drapers, a televised pitch competition with a broad investor and consumer audience.
