US President Donald Trump on Oct. 8 unveiled an aggressive federal crackdown on Antifa and other left-wing groups, calling them “domestic terrorists” and accusing Democratic leaders of turning a blind eye to years of violence against law enforcement and journalists. He vowed to “destroy the entire organization from top to bottom.”
Flanked by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and FBI Director Kash Patel, Trump opened the White House roundtable by claiming a “serious left-wing terror threat in our country,” saying Antifa and other extremists had waged a “campaign of violence against ICE agents and federal property for nearly a decade.”
