TiE Silicon Valley president Anita Manwani emphasized the need to engage all constituents of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as essential to delivering on the promise of innovation.
Speaking at the opening of TiECon 2025 on April 30, Manwani said the conference and all the discussions are organized to engage the three key pillars of the Silicon Valley ecosystem — corporate executives, entrepreneurs and founders and funders and investors.

"We cannot provide that bull's-eye focus on entrepreneurship unless we are relevant to every aspect and every group in the constituents of this network,” Manwani said in her opening speech.“Unless we have an ecosystem where all three are engaged, we will not have delivered because they are all equally important,” she added.
With AI as the central theme of this year’s conference, Manwani stressed the importance of understanding how artificial intelligence is transforming industries ranging from auto tech and retail to life sciences and supply chains. “Relevance today is all about AI,” she said, adding that TiE Silicon Valley now supports more than 80 engagements annually, far beyond the conference itself.
She also acknowledged the global reach of the TiE community. “Our ecosystem is not just Silicon Valley. Our ecosystem consists of all of you who have come from all over the globe,” she said.
Closing her address on a note of optimism and gratitude, Manwani praised the 300-plus volunteers who make TiECon possible each year.
“We can’t execute fearlessly and have commitment unless we're having fun,” she said. “And I have to say that on behalf of the 300-plus volunteers that come out each year, we do this happily.”
TiECon 2025, themed “AiVerse,” runs through the weekend with sessions focused on how artificial intelligence is reshaping innovation, enterprise strategy, and global policy.
