The program opened with the national anthems of India and the United States, followed by the launch of the International Enterprise Fellowship, a three-semester initiative for high school students developed in collaboration with Enspire Academy, Cedar Hill Prep School, and TiE-NJ. The evening also featured an art exhibition curated by Anu Bhat and a poster session by students from the TiE NextGen program.

Suresh U. Kumar, president of TiE-NJ, welcomed attendees and lead the discussions on recent U.S.-India trade tensions, noting the impact of steep tariffs. He also acknowledged the contributions of women leaders and TiE-NJ board members to the organization’s growth.

The keynote address was delivered by Jamie Payton, dean of the College of Computing at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, who highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence in higher education and emphasized the need for resilience and adaptability.
