The video shows him holding the visa and expressing gratitude for what he described as a “dream come true” for his family. “I am holding a US visa. I never imagined that God would plan such a life for me,” Maurya said in Hindi in the video.

“I come from a small village in Bareilly. My father worked tirelessly day and night just to run the household, and my mother gave tuition lessons to support us. Getting a US visa is such a happy moment,” he added.

He said the achievement carried special significance because of his modest background. “When someone rises from such humble beginnings and achieves something like this, it feels truly great both for me and for my parents,” Maurya said, while encouraging others with the words, “Your time will come.”

The reel has drawn hundreds of congratulatory comments. “Every middle class boy dream... proud of you brother,” one user wrote. Another said: “Congratulations brother, much more to come. Keep going, growing & glowing. Every home deserves a son like you!!”

A third user, relating to Maurya’s journey, commented: “Well there is something in this name ‘Abhishek’. Same is with me, coming from Bihar where we barely speak English, and today I am living a dream. I found my love here, I found my strength and found myself. I am happy for me, and for us! Cheers.”

In his post, Maurya acknowledged the support of his family and well-wishers, underlining that obtaining visas for countries like the US and Canada remains a major milestone for individuals from small towns in India.
