Sigri Indian BBQ, one of the few Indian barbecue franchise brands in the United States, will host a franchise open house on Dec. 8 at its North Brunswick location for prospective franchise partners.

The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. ET at 540 Shoppes Boulevard and is aimed at those interested in exploring the brand’s fast-growing franchise program.

Attendees will receive a tour of the kitchen, observe operational processes, and participate in a live question-and-answer session.

The concept, which began as a New Jersey restaurant rooted in North Indian cooking traditions, gained national attention as its open-flame method and spice-forward menu spread across social media platforms.

“The excitement Sigri has generated shows the real appetite consumers have for authentic, global flavors prepared with cultural integrity,” said Matt Ensero, VP of franchise operations. He said the open house offers a direct view of how the brand’s systems and menu development support a scalable business.

Sigri’s franchise model features a relatively low entry cost, flexible layouts, and streamlined operations designed to work across dine-in, takeout, and off-premises channels.

Backed by Craveworthy Brands, the company says its infrastructure positions operators for growth in states such as Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, and Texas.

The program targets multi-unit franchisees, restaurant investors, and owner-operators who prioritize hospitality and cultural authenticity. Despite its recent launch, Sigri has already signed agreements and begun development on new locations in New Jersey and Illinois.

“Operators today want brands with staying power—strong economics, strong support, and strong momentum,” said Samuel Stanovich, SVP of franchise leadership. “Sigri delivers all three.”

Sigri, founded in 2015, focuses on traditional open-flame North Indian cooking, offering marinated meats, fresh naan, and other dishes prepared over its signature sigri grill. Craveworthy Brands, its parent company, owns a portfolio of restaurant concepts and emphasizes operational support and brand growth across its network.
