Ro Khanna offers bipartisan deal to Trump on drug prices order

Support from the Indian American Congressman came in response to Trump’s executive order, slashing drug prices by 30 percent to 80 percent.

Representative Ro Khanna publicly backed President Donald Trump’s push to lower prescription drug prices, offering to introduce the latter’s executive order as legislation in Congress.

“I support @realDonaldTrump effort to ensure Americans do not pay more for drugs than those in other countries,” Khanna posted on X on Sunday. “But instead of an EO (Executive Order) that will get challenged again by Big Pharma, why not work with @BernieSanders & me to make this law!”
