U.S. Congressman Ro Khanna joined members of the Indian-American community to celebrate the festival of Holi at the India Community Center (ICC) in Milpitas, California, on March 15.

Khanna took to X to make a post sharing glimpses from the event, and wrote,

“Happy Holi! Loved celebrating at the ICC. Over 1000 expected to attend. So much vibrancy and joy in the community and good to be with friends back home away from the divisions in DC.”

The event was organized by the Rajasthan Alliance of North America, and included Music and Dance, Color Play, and Rajasthani Cuisine as the menu.



Khanna is seen in a turban, covered in colors, and posing with community members in the images of his post.

Indian American community leader and former White House advisor Ajay Jain Bhutoria also joined in this celebration. He shared Khanna’s post on X, hailing him as a ‘visionary and hardworking national leader.’

“So fun getting some color on Congressman @RoKhanna . I’m deeply grateful for Ro’s tireless dedication to our district and the nation. We are lucky to have such a visionary and hardworking National leader and friend,” wrote Bhutoria.
