Rapper Badshah shines at NBA celebrity Game in CA

Badshah described the game as one of his first loves and reminisced having grown up watching legends of the game like Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant.

Indian music sensation, singer-songwriter Badshah participated in the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, representing Indian rap on a global stage.

Featuring along-side the likes of Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse and Marvel-famed actor Simu Liu, Badshsah took to court in California for the NBA Celebrity Game 2026, on Feb. 13.

Badshah, sporting a number 75 jersey, held his own at the game, shining early on in the game with crossovers and even a no-look pass fresh off the bench.

Played at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, the annual exhibition held during the All-Star Weekend, featured celebrities, retired NBA and WNBA players, musicians, actors, and athletes from other sports in a lighthearted basketball matchup.

Sharing his excitement, the singer shared on Instagram, "The fire was real. NBA is truly magical. The will was so real that god put me on the court with the greats. Took a different route and almost 25 years. But here is the boy. Just a boy from India,
