Ayush Chopra-led MIT project wins GitLab grant

Chopra’s research team will receive $250,000 in funding and six months of technical collaboration with OpenAI engineers.

Project Iceberg, led by Ayush Chopra, a PhD student at MIT Media Lab, has been awarded a grant from the GitLab Foundation’s AI for Economic Opportunity Fund.

The GitLab Foundation’s AI for Economic Opportunity Fund is part of a cohort supported by OpenAI, Ballmer Group, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and grantees are selected from over 800 applicants.
