Anoopam Mission celebrates Annakut Utsav in Texas

The event embodied the essence of seva and bhakti, reminding the devotees of values like humility, unity, and divine love.

The Anoopam Mission-Dallas Mandal recently celebrated the Annakut Utsav, highlighting the divine joy, devotion, and unity that the festival brings.

The Annakut festival is a Hindu celebration observed on the fourth day of Diwali, dedicated to expressing gratitude and thanksgiving to Goddess Annapurna, the deity of food. This auspicious occasion revolves around offering prayers to Goddess Annapurna and presenting her with various food items.

Uniting the attendees in the spirit of samp (harmony), suhradbhav (goodwill), and ekta (unity), food items were offered at the the lotus feet of Lord Swaminarayan, Sant Bhagvant Sahebdada, and Sadguru Santos.

The colorful and devotional offerings reflected the community’s deep faith and reverence.

Additionally, as part of the celebration, the 'Ghar Mandir' was decorated. Devotional songs and prayers echoed throughout the celebration, creating an atmosphere of bliss and spiritual energy.

Anoopam Mission is a socio-religious non-profit based at the Shree Swaminarayan Spiritual & Cultural Center in Coplay, Pennsylvania. Founded by Sant Bhagwant Sahebji, it promotes human advancement through global humanitarian efforts in education, healthcare, social welfare, and disaster relief.
