Ruchika Gupta, an Indian student who recently earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), is using her personal health challenges to drive global change through her wellness startup, Health Click Away.
Gupta, who grew up in Delhi, India, told Prairie View A&M University that her journey began with a mirror and a moment of frustration. She recalled struggling with weight gain, constant body pain, and the emotional toll of body shaming. “More than anything, I just wanted to feel like myself again,” she said.
