Boston, April 30: The next wave of cancer treatment will depend less on single “blockbuster” drugs and more on precise combinations tailored to individual patients, as scientists confront the growing complexity and adaptability of tumours, industry leaders said at a high-level panel.
At the USA–India Chamber of Commerce’s BioPharma & Healthcare Summit, executives and researchers said the future of oncology lies in integrating biology, data science and new therapeutic modalities to deliver durable responses — and ultimately, longer survival.
