PRAVAAH, a new multicultural sports business platform, officially launched on July 10 with the aim to connect South Asian business leaders, brands, and community organizations across North America.

According to a news release, the initiative will  create sports-centered experiential events and strategic partnerships designed to foster business development opportunities while strengthening ties with one of North America's fastest-growing multicultural communities.

PRAVAAH is a joint venture between Ocgrow Ventures and Tulsea Sports Marketing, combining the companies' networks across professional sports, business, government, community organizations, celebrities, influencers, and ethnic media.

Derived from the Sanskrit word meaning "flow," PRAVAAH is founded on the belief that sports can create meaningful connections among businesses, technology innovators, investors, sports organizations, media, and fans, the release stated.

The organization will work with sports rightsholders, properties, and investors to help build relationships with South Asian audiences through advisory services, partnerships, and experiential programming.

"PRAVAAH is far more than a sports platform. It's a global movement built on the belief that sport has the power to unite people, ideas, cultures, and opportunity," said Harish Consul, co-founder of PRAVAAH and founder and chief executive officer of Ocgrow Ventures.

"Our vision is to build the world's leading network where sports, business, technology, investment, and culture converge. By creating meaningful connections and authentic partnerships, PRAVAAH will unlock new opportunities for business leaders, brands, and sports organizations while inspiring the next generation of global leaders. This is only the beginning," Consul added.

The company said its initial efforts will focus on connecting sports rightsholders with business leaders and founders from multicultural communities through sports-driven experiences that support and elevate the South Asian business community.

During its first year, PRAVAAH plans to launch initiatives in major South Asian population centers, including Calgary, Toronto, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Vancouver, and New York. The organization also said it expects to announce additional markets during the year and pursue global expansion beginning in 2027.

"Sports has a unique ability to unite people across generations, cultures, and industries," said Sreesha Vaman, co-founder of PRAVAAH and partner and co-founder of Tulsea Sports Marketing.

"PRAVAAH harnesses that power to bring together South Asian business leaders with the communities they serve, creating authentic connections that strengthen relationships and unlock new opportunities,” she added.

The organization said it aims to help sports organizations and brands move beyond one-time multicultural outreach campaigns by developing long-term engagement strategies with South Asian audiences across North America.
