Netflix on Sept. 8 released the trailer for The Ba**ds of Bollywood, the directorial debut of Aryan Khan.
The seven-episode series, produced by Red Chillies Entertainments, presents a satirical yet celebratory portrayal of the Hindi film industry. The narrative centers on Aasmaan Singh, portrayed by actor Lakshya, an aspiring newcomer determined to succeed in the world of cinema.

His journey is supported by his best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), his manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his family, but soon collides with established superstar Ajay Talvar, played by Bobby Deol.
The cast also features Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Sahher Bambba, Manish Chaudhari, Vijayant Kohli, and Rajat Bedi. The trailer highlights the show’s blend of sharp dialogue, dramatic confrontations, and larger-than-life sequences that reflect both the glamour and challenges of Bollywood.
The production has attracted significant attention with the confirmation of cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, who are set to appear together on screen for the first time. Additional guest appearances include Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Disha Patani, and musician Badshah, further adding to the series’ profile.
The soundtrack, developed in collaboration with T-Series, is led by composer Shashwat Sachdev, with contributions from Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta. Early releases such as “Badli Si Hawa Hai,” sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill, and “Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri,” also featuring Arijit Singh, have already generated a strong audience response.
Described as a “no-filter” reflection on the industry, The Ba**ds of Bollywood combines satire, spectacle, and commentary, positioning it as one of Netflix’s most anticipated premieres of the year.
