Nensi Patel becomes first Indian-born New Zealand women's cricketer

In her T20 debut, Patel bowled four overs for 20 runs as New Zealand secured a 92-run win.

Nensi Patel became the first Indian-born cricketer to play for the New Zealand women’s team when she debuted in the opening T20 international against Zimbabwe on Feb. 26 at Seddon Park.

The 23-year-old off-spinning all-rounder received her White Ferns cap from teammate Brooke Halliday before the start of the white-ball series, marking her first appearance at international level.
