Co-hosted by Ed Helms, the program functions as an audio discussion forum centered on the expanding world of audiobook storytelling. Each episode brings together actors, authors, and creators to discuss the artistic and production choices shaping contemporary audio narratives.
Upcoming episodes will include conversations with screenwriter Randy McKinnon, creator of “The Prophecy,” an Audible Original supernatural thriller about a woman confronting otherworldly forces in a struggle for humanity’s future.
Penn, known for his work in Harold & Kumar, House, and Designated Survivor, has combined a career in film and television with public service, having served in the Obama administration. His memoir, “You Can’t Be Serious,” reflects on identity, politics, and representation in entertainment and government.
Helms, recognized for The Office and The Hangover trilogy, recently released the fourth season of his history podcast SNAFU and the accompanying book “SNAFU: The Definitive Guide to History’s Greatest Screwups.”
Produced by Ruby, iHeartMedia’s branded content division, in collaboration with Audible, “Earsay” is available on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms, with new episodes released every two weeks. Titles featured on the show, including “Pride and Prejudice” and “The Prophecy,” are accessible through the Audible app.
Audible, an Amazon subsidiary, and iHeartMedia, the largest audio media company in the United States, said the partnership reflects their shared commitment to expanding storytelling formats across podcasting and spoken-word audio.
