Instagrammer Tushar Bareja has gone viral after he shared a video of him attempting to live the life of an Uber Driver for a day, in Melbourne, Australia.
In an attempt to capture the reality of gig workers like Uber Drivers in Australia, Bareja challenged himself to drive an Uber cab for 12 hours. He wrote on Instagram, "12 hours driving UberX in Melbourne Real experience. Real income. Sharing what a full day behind the wheel actually looks like."

Bareja woke up at 4 in the morning and started his day with a $31 (47 Australian Dollars) trip to the airport and gradually worked his way to $223 (330 Australian Dollars) over the next 10 hours.
Even though the content creator did not live up to the 12-hour challenge and called it quits with two more hours to go, netizens hailed his efforts as the video garnered over a 120k likes withing days of posting. People were quick to compare his earnings with the earnings of an Uber driver in India, noting that the former's daily earning was similar to the latter's monthly income.
