Indian-origin scholar selected for CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program

Feyaad Allie will study identity, inclusion and democracy in South Asia, supported by a $100,000 CIFAR grant and global mentorship.

Feyaad Allie, an Indian-origin assistant professor of government at Harvard, has been selected for the 2025 CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars program, a prestigious initiative by the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research. The program supports early-career researchers working on urgent global challenges.

Allie was chosen for the “Boundaries, Membership, and Belonging” interdisciplinary cluster, which brings together experts from law, philosophy, psychology, and other fields to study issues related to identity and inclusion.
