Indian Americans featured in top attorneys of San Francisco list
The top 50 were selected from a pool of 20,000 attorneys in San Francisco County.

Attorney Intel has announced the Top 50 Attorneys of San Francisco for 2023. The list features Indian Americans Keval Patel and Devang Shah selected from a pool of 20,000 attorneys in San Francisco County.
Patel holds the position of General Counsel at Zipline, a company dedicated to establishing an inclusive logistics system for all individuals. Prior to this role, Patel worked as a technology transactions associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. He has also served as a legal clerk and child advocate at The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.
In the earlier stages of his career, Patel worked with Assemblymember Jim Frazier as a caseworker and office assistant. He earned his JD from the University of Chicago Law School and completed his undergraduate degree in political science and government at the University of California, Davis.
Devang Shah became the general counsel at Pivot Bio in March 2023. Pivot Bio is a sustainable agriculture company founded in 2011, focusing on delivering patented crop nutrition technologies for reliable and productive food production. In his current position, Shah draws on his experience, including successfully leading public offerings for two prior companies, as he oversees all legal affairs.
Shah started his legal career at Skadden Arps, working in both Palo Alto and NYC. He holds a B.S. in civil and environmental engineering from Cornell University, an M.S. in civil engineering from Stanford University, and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
