IAGB hosts 3D printing workshop
The workshop featured guided sessions on design, modelling and real-world applications of 3D printing

The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) held a 3D printing workshop on April 11, bringing together students, families and community members for a hands-on introduction to the technology.
Participants were introduced to 3D design, modelling and printing through guided sessions, with students working directly with instructors and producing printed objects. The workshop also focused on practical uses of 3D printing.

Sandeep Asija of Asija Properties attended the event as guest of honor. “Workshops like this empower our next generation to think creatively and embrace innovation,” he said.
The sessions were led by IAGB workshop lead Prashant Kulkarni, with support from volunteers Deepak Garg, Lima Das, Shital Bhammar, Manish Bhowmick and Vijay Ejenkar.
IAGB president Nilesh Agrawal said the workshop is part of efforts to expand community-based learning initiatives. “Our goal is to bring families together through programs that inspire, educate, and strengthen community connections. This workshop reflects IAGB’s commitment to empowering youth and fostering a culture of innovation,” he said.
The venue was provided by Gautam and Rachana Shah, while refreshments were supported by Dev Patil of The Treasury, Burlington.
Founded in 1962, IAGB is one of the oldest Indian-American organizations in New England and hosts cultural, educational and civic programs, including India Day, the Senior Expo, the Discover India Series and Republic Day events.
