IA impact backs Arvind Venkat re-election

Venkat was born in Madurai and migrated to the United States as a child. He is an alumni of Harvard and Yale universities and had a long career in emergency medicine as a physician, before joining politics.

The Indian American Impact, a Indian and South Asian empowerment community organization, has formally endorsed Pennsylvania State Representative Arvind Venkat in his re-election bid.

Venkat, who is running a campaign centered around affordability, healthcare, and public service, is vying for a third term in office after having previously won 2022 and again in 2024.

The Indian American Impact put its weight behind the Democratic candidate and remarked, "We’re proud to endorse @VenkatforPA for re-election to the Pennsylvania State House D-30! A physician and experienced public health leader, Arvind is focused on lowering healthcare costs, strengthening public education, and continuing to deliver results for working families."
