Tikka Shack opens Virginia outlet
The fast-casual Indian chain recently opened its restaurant in Pennsylvania.

The fast-casual Indian restaurant chain Tikka Shack has opened a new restaurant in Morgantown, West Virginia, expanding its footprint.
The Morgantown location began serving customers on Feb. 23, introducing its customizable, street-inspired Indian menu to the college town.

Guests can build rice bowls, salads, or naan wraps with options such as grilled chicken, paneer, or vegetables, topped with sauces including Tikka Masala and Butter Masala, along with fresh toppings and house-made chutneys.
The menu also includes naan pizzas featuring Indian-style toppings and crispy wings coated in the brand’s signature sauces. Vegetarian options are available across several offerings.
Pramod Prodduturi, founder and president of Tikka Shack, said the company views the launch as an opportunity to introduce its format to a new market. “We’re excited to bring Tikka Shack to Morgantown! Our mission is simple—serve fresh, flavorful Indian-inspired food that’s fun, customizable, and welcoming. Morgantown is ready for bold,” he said.

The restaurant’s concept blends traditional Indian spices with a fast-casual service model aimed at accessibility for both new customers and regular diners. The location features a modern setting designed for quick lunches, casual dinners, group gatherings, takeout, and delivery.
Catering options include customizable trays for events, university functions, and community gatherings. The company said it plans to engage locally through partnerships, events, and student-focused initiatives.
The Morgantown opening follows the chain’s launch in Easton, Pennsylvania, last year. Tikka Shack operates nearly 20 locations across at least eight states, including Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, Arizona, and North Carolina.
