Priyanka Chopra makes stylish Golden Globes appearance

Chopra also offered a glimpse into her upcoming film, The Bluff, set to premiere Feb. 25.

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas presented the award for best actor in a television drama at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony on Jan. 11 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. She was joined on stage by K-pop band BLACKPINK’s Lisa, also known as Lalisa Manobal.

Chopra was dressed in a satin midnight-blue Dior ensemble, a custom creation from Jonathan Anderson’s collection, paired with a diamond-and-sapphire Bvlgari necklace. She arrived at the ceremony with her husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, and the couple walked the red carpet arm in arm, with the Bollywood star offering a brief namaste to fans.

She also offered a glimpse into her upcoming film The Bluff, set to premiere Feb. 25.

After taking the stage, Chopra said, “We are honored to present the award for the best performance by a male actor in a TV series drama,” while co-presenter Lisa added, “The nominees in this category have taken us on a journey with their performances this year.”

“Some had us flying across the solar system with rebels,” Chopra said, while Lisa added, “Others took us to magical faraway lands.”



“Go stealers,” Chopra exclaimed before introducing the nominees, which included Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), Diego Luna (Andor), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Mark Ruffalo (Task), Adam Scott (Severance), and Noah Wyle (The Pitt).

Chopra then handed the award to the winner, Noah Wyle, for his performance in the medical drama The Pitt.

Ahead of the ceremony, Chopra took to Instagram to share stories documenting her excitement leading up to the event. From getting “hair and makeup done at a nearby hotel to avoid traffic” to enjoying a relaxing facial massage because “mama needs the works,” she offered behind-the-scenes glimpses of her Golden Globes preparations.

Chopra previously presented at the Golden Globes in 2017.
