Polish woman celebrates Indian 'Jugaad'

Captioned, "India is not for beginners", the video was celebrated by social media users for being a living example of the Indian way of life.

A Polish model living in India celebrated Indian 'Jugaad', or frugal ingenuity,  sharing a video of an Indian man carrying over 20 chairs on a motorcycle, in Delhi.

Indians love their Jugaads, makeshift adjustments is the cornerstone of running a country of 1.4 billion people who are looking to overlook the imperfections as long as the job gets done.

Recording from her window, Dominika Patalas-Kalra gave a glimpse of Indian ingenuity as she witnessed the stunning example of a man riding steadily, even without a pillion rider for help, with a stack of chairs behind him.

Captioned, "India is not for beginners", the Poland born model exclaimed in the video, "Carrying more than 20 chairs on a bike? In India everything is possible... you can buy a chair without even going outside the house."

The post attracted humorous reactions on her Instagram handle, users marvelled at the 'can-do' attitude shown by not just the person in the video but by Indians in general. Users shared anecdotes of their experiences of Jugaad and remarked that the only thing missing is a pillion rider sitting atop the neatly stacked chairs.
